Multiculturalism Project
"Promoting a Systemic and Academic Response to Anti-Gypsyism"
IRCA's Multiculturalism project is a collaborative effort. IRCA is working together with University Aleksander Moisiu - Durres (UAMD), Clemson University, Ministry of Education and Sports.
On 3 April, 2014 at University Aleksander Moisiu Durres, IRCA together with its project partners, held a symposium to discuss the need of creating curricula to teach and share Roma culture and Multiculturalism at the university level. The project group experts are Bledina Bushi, Bujar Taho, Marks Small, Saimir Mile. This group has worked to write a book, and it will be published on 20 January 2015. This book was developed for Pedagogy/ Education Masters Degree programs. Based on the publication of the book, IRCA will work with UAMD and other educational institutions to include this book to create a university course on Multiculturalism and Roma Culture.
